LCF FirstMove is an initiative from LCF Careers, which is aimed at supporting London of College of Fashion students make the transition from education into the world of work.
Its overarching aim is to help forge collaborations between LCF and the fashion & lifestyle industries in order to ensure recruiters turn to London College of Fashion when seeking the best new fashion talent. The online portfolio and CV database allows students and graduates to showcase their skills and ability to industry and enhance their chances of securing job roles within the creative sector.
The website also features toolkits that provide students and graduates with the knowledge and understanding of employability and enterprise skills as well as an insight into the industry. Alongside the website, we run the FirstMove Programme that offers industry workshops, seminars, graduate fairs, industry in-house open days and a mentorship scheme that aims to help students get ahead in their final year.
